A musician for several decades, Clare's maxim 'God is in the details' is her poetic guide. Her timeless, masterfully crafted lyrics transform otherwise ordinary moments into narratives so extraordinary listeners are captivated from the very first word.
Clare's songs honour slices of life by turning them into elegant sources of inspiration and points of connection as they detail the joys, heartbreaks and idiosyncrasies of people and places she's observed throughout her life. Clare’s journey began in the Toronto folk music scene. She went on to co-found and sing lead for the Brit Folk inspired band Crazy Man Michael playing events and festivals in Ontario, Canada. Adventures in Appalacia and the southwest Mojave desert brought house concerts and gigs in dusty Cowboy saloons. She now performs both solo and as part of duo, Drifting Tunes.
Emerging onto the Edmonton music scene, Clare brings her soulful vocals, captivating songs and signature sound to the forefront. Her performances create a heartwarming and entertaining atmosphere that inspires and delights audiences.
