False Teachers: A Call For Discernment

1 Timothy 4:1

"Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons"

We must never set our doctrinal differences aside. We must love the truth, hold fast to the truth and correct false doctrine with the truth.

Disclaimer:

I have nothing personally against any of these teachers. I do have a responsibility as a born again Christian to contend for the faith (Jude 1:3) and to fight for Biblical truth. When I see or hear someone who claims to be in ministry in the name of Jesus Christ promoting doctrines that are inconsistent with the scriptures, pointing people away from Christ and / or denying what Christ did for us on the cross in any way then I have a responsibility to call that person out and to warn my fellow sisters to make you aware. Then you get to decide whether you should keep listening to that teacher or supporting that ministry.

Michelle Manders:

A Warning Against people who are teaching False Doctrines

~ 2 Peter 2:1 ~

"... there are false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who brought them, bringing upon them swift destruction."

The internet has profoundly altered the way people learn, and has leveled the playing field so that literally anyone, whether a novice or a scholarly authority, can start a blog or a social media account and broadcast information and mis-information to massive audiences searching for knowledge.

This has given way to a dangerous and demonic trend: the rapid rise of online Christian ministries, market driven Christian 'retailers', and other various evangelical organizations.

Many of these so called "ministries" are rife with false teachers who are teaching false doctrine, are powered by worldliness offering teachings that are designed to appeal to the masses, garner big followings and bring money into their ministries.

Jesus warns us about worldliness. He doesn't want us to be "loved by the world". He commands us to spread His gospel just the way he has given it to us.

John 15:19 "If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you."

Many false teachers are, themselves, totally deceived and unwittingly listening to false spirits, and many of the good people who follow false teachers have absolutely no idea that they are actually being lead away from Jesus Christ and taught a false gospel. They are being taught a doctrine of demons.

Out of love and concern for my sisters in Christ who desire to worship Jesus Christ in Spirit and in TRUTH, I biblically, boldly and unashamedly warn against false teachers and expose unbiblical teaching trends in the church.

If you are wondering whether or not a teacher you are following is teaching false doctrine and would like my input feel free to email me at clare@claremcnaul.com. I am happy to help guide you through a biblical process of discernment to determine how he or she holds up to the scrutiny of God's Word, the ONE and ONLY authority.

If that teacher turns out to be a false teacher I will include a warning about them here on this web page.

For more information about a number of popular false women teachers I recommend reading these articles by Christian women's leader Michelle Lesley who has meticulously and biblically substantiated why the teachers she profiles are teaching false doctrine.

Here is a list of the women teachers that Michelle has examined. If you see a teacher you have been following on the list below I urge you to read that article for more information. Click on the link to go directly to each article:

Beth Moore: You can read Michelle Lesley's excellent examination of false teacher Beth Moore HERE. This article, Karen Breaks Free From Beth Moore, is an informative, good read written by a former Beth Moore acolyte who eventually saw the truth about Beth and left her behind. (where she belongs....)

Joyce Meyer: This video by Alan Parr explains how popular teacher Joyce Meyer teaches in contradiction to the Bible.

I will be adding to my own list of false teachers in the coming months.
